Throughout the first quarter of 2022, the top 5 tools apps in Egypt displayed diverse performance metrics across downloads, active users, and revenue. Here’s a closer look at how each app fared, based on data from Sensor Tower.

SHAREit: Transfer, Share Files from Smart Media4U Technology Pte.Ltd. saw a consistent revenue stream, peaking at approximately $399 in the first week of January. Downloads reached a high of around 301K in mid-January, followed by a moderate decline, ending the quarter with about 201K downloads. The app maintained a strong user base, with weekly active users fluctuating between 4.0M and 4.5M.

My WE by Telecom Egypt demonstrated steady download numbers, peaking at about 115K in mid-January and maintaining an average of around 100K throughout the quarter. Active users ranged from 2.4M to 2.7M, showing a slight increase towards the end of the quarter.
